LOVE THE BASS

the bass in this song kick my eardrums so nicely that I just about got up and danced. (i would have but i pulled an all nighter and its 7 in the morning, so my legs fail me at the moment)

maybe my headphones lack bass as well, cuz even though im loving the kick, it sounds to me like they could be a bit louder, or the synths turned down a bit to bring them out more, but other than that this song is the sweetness.

Love the reverb (my fav. fx of all time XD)

good job on this!

well, i pulled an allnighter when making this song:D posted it 06:00 in the morning xD glad you liked it:D and about that kick, maybe it is a bit low, but ye:P glad you liked it again^^

simply astounding

once again, i happily stumble across you page and have been unquestionably knocked on my ass by your awesomeness.

Your voice is wonderful. Its an addictive candy that, once in your system, eats at you untill you hear more and more of it. If im not careful, i might just become a junkie for your music ;D

Simply wonderful. great piano work, and as always, your voice is great!!!!

le 5/5!!!

sadly,

i have no paintball gun. so i cannot participate in such an awesome activity as brandishing my man-sword for all my room to see.... :'(

Only 6 hours eh? thats pretty beast right there sir, i tip my hat to you *and blind you with my shiny bald head!!*

Anyway, im loving this, the progressions are epic and awe-inspiring and the transitions are seemingly flawless.

it just kinda ended a bit quick IMO, but i know how that goes, so im not really to worried about that.

nice piece!!!

intoxicating

i can honestly say i've never really heard Slayer used so effectively before.

On top of the awesomeness of that, the song is just so dern catchy.

I love it!

love the melodies

but i really feel some more reverb could have been used on the main melodies, specifically just that main saw instrument in general could have used it.....but im not gonna let a little something like that rob you of the 5 this clearly deserves.

great track, just try to use a tiny bit more reverb on the main melodies.

simply stunning work here man. A 3 weeks well spent, no questions asked!!!

um.....

all i can say is just wow....holy freakin wow.......

My friend.

It has truly been a while since i've been graced with time to go snooping around the AP for music to review again. Its been far too long IMO since we've last spoken, and i still havent really done anything to the collab that we had started up lol. I was listening to the Come Sail Away classical remix, and noticed your name somewhere and was like *HOLY CRAP I GOTTA REVIEW SOME OF HIS STUFF IM LONG OVER DUE!!!*

So here i am, another pleasant smile painted on my face by your amazing work.
listening to this song makes me wonder about your blog thingy.... I personally feel that a deeper level of reverb would have done more justice to the woodwinds here. And possibly even the bass a little more. But thats just me, i <3 me some reverbz.

Im lovin the harp, its always a wonderful addition to soft classical pieces.

Do0d u r get 5 f0r thi5!

Hey Tim!!! Long time no see/converse :) Haha no ones ever overdue a review with me, I just hand out reviews because it something I liked doing, and trying to help people, and I dont want people to feel obliged at all to return a review ;) but its still nice when people do, so thanks for the review! I have been feeling pretty apathetic lately and I havent reviewed as much content as I wanted...hopefully I can get back in a groove soon.

Glad you like this one, thanks for the compliments. As for the reverb, that can definetly be true. This was actually my first full piece made with East West so I hadn't experimented much with the controls so the reverb is pretty much the default setting.

Thanks for stopping by :D yeah maybe we can mess more with that collab (its been since like....october/november!?) or maybe even start a new one sometime soon. Nice to see you again, thanks for the review!

Oh my dear God in Heaven...

those are the only words that i can think of when hearing this song. As stated, im sure by everyone else, this is simply breathtaking. It knocked me on my ass, even though im laying down as im writing this.

So here's to you and your physics defying music!!

Cheers and a 5 for you good sir!

SolusLunes responds:

I'm so glad that so many people liked this song as much as they do...

You guys make me happy. :D

A very soothing piece

I definitely feel what you were going for with this song. You blended everything well and the melodies flow very smooth. This is a great piece. And i really cant picture it as a battle score lol, you must have completely given it a 180 before you posted this.

Anywho, you get a 5 from me XD

Fuoco responds:

Thanks!
Slow pieces fits better with me, but I enjoy battle songs as well. The battle score was like taking the first melody and using a typical battle rythm, and then in the middle some brass was going in... but I thought it wasn't that good/original.

Thanks again for your five! ;)
