seriously?

how are you going to just put a few kicks in the sequencer, on top of a preset drumloop, and try to post it as somethign creative? C'mon sir, i know you might just be beginning but at least try to make your own drum beats and melodies. If you dont know how to construct a melody in FL, find a synthesizer of anykind in there, put it in the secuencer, and right click the channel and select "piano roll" and experiment with that. lots of fun XD anywho, try and keep that in mind for your next post.

I guess you did a decent job though of adding those extra kicks to the mix, it would have gone well in a song XD

beautiful, as i have come to expect XD

This song is simply wonderful!! I love the choir that you use, as well as how everything tells a certain part of the story!!
Sorry for such a short review, and also for my lack of reviews, but alas i do not have constant access to the internet atm, so my time on is rather random ><

Im glad i was able to stumle across this little gem XD

~keep upthe great work!~

MaestroRage responds:

I am glad you found your way to the page once again Twisted :D. I was afraid i'd never see you again. Of course, I cannot hold anything against you. Your time, is your time. I am glad you were willing to spend some of that listening :)

I love the choirs myself, child choirs work miracles for stories like this.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it! I apologize for the late response :(

Awesome piece!!

I really liked those opening synths, really drug me face-first into the song! I love that plucked instrument your using!! What exactly are you using to make that? its really nice XD

This whole song was outright sweet! Totally fits the GOW theme!

5/5 from me,

Great job on this one mate!
~Twistedtechnology

Suspended-3rd-Chord responds:

thanks a bunch for the review and the interest!

I use two synths for the intro...the lower pitched one is a "samurai jack", the windy sound is an "oort cloud" both being sytrus presets. the plucked string is a saz(soundfont), a turkish instrument if I remember correctly.

thanks again for the good score and review. appreciate it man!

pretty chill track

I like this, nice upbeat kind of song XD Not very many of my workdays have ever fit this track XD I'm glad that at least one person out there had that kind of day at work XD

This is pretty good but sounds like one big loop, so i give it a strong 4/5 :)

Keep it up!

~Twistedtechnology

TMM43 responds:

Thanks for the review Twistedtechnology!
As I said in the response to the review before this one, my work day does fit this! haha. xD
Eh. I kinda didn't want this to sound like a loop...Sorry about that.
Thanks for the review! I greatly appreciate it!

Hooray indeed!!

Nothing like a fresh idea being thrown into the pot!!! I really liked this song as it picked up XD

Are you using z3ta+ at all?
If you are, those are some pretty interesting ways to apply it XD

Sounds great, very weird, but great XD

5/5

~Twistedtechnology

SoulofDeath responds:

z3ta+, no i didn't use any of that basically because i don't know what it is :P if you could send me something explaining it or anything i would be grateful

thanks for the review, again.

Very soothing

I really liked the mood this song set, but in my opinion the precusion could have been a bit more intricate, without taking away the focus on the rest of the song. It was just a bit too simple a beat, but other than that, the song is great!

Sounds like something you'd hear in one of those RPG games for the SNES...kind of reminds me of Breath Of Fire XD

Very nice XD

Keep it up!
~Twistedtechnology

SoulofDeath responds:

Breath of Fire eh? well i was gonna make the drums more intricate but when i did i thought it did take the focus away from the rest too much, i just gotta think of a better way i guess.

thanks for the review

Lol, defiantely not doomsday XD

It might not be doomsday, but it definatly came out pretty nice XD

I dont normally listen to the DnB section, but this song is really nice in my opinion, so I thought I'd be friendly and leave you with a well-earned comment on your piece ^^

Keep up the good work XD

~Twistedtechnology

WritersBlock responds:

Cheers. This was my first real attempt at DnB (the only other time was just mucking around a bit...)
Thanks for reviewing.

trippy XD

As you said in response to the last review, you probably didnt accomplish what you wanted..but i like what you DID do with it XD Its pretty crazy, and it's something i wouldnt mind hearing a bit more like this XD

A suggestion with this piece..hm....would probably hit some of those instruments with reverb...i think it would give thsi a kind of weird, distancy fell to it, and that would be realy cool imo XD

Anyway, i really like this one, its got a video game feel to it XD
5/5 from me XD

~Twistedtechnology

DoobyTimePiece responds:

XD? whats that? if you dont mind telling me? send a message via new grounds cus i actualy check my messages. but i know that my effects are needed more greatly than my diversity. allmy songs are cool and all but they lack well. density. but thanx for the review. im starting some new shit and im going to spend more time on makeing my own riffs and samples insted of mixing pre recorded riff (ROYLETY FREE FOR THOES TECH JERKS) and making them more to my style of music as you can hear about half way through my music i think HARD rad ahead is the first where i made Bitching sound riffs of a guitar

sweet XD

Hmm...deflektor i think had a point....the timapni are kinda sounding weird to me, but as i continue to listen to this on repeat, they grow on me pretty quickly, so its not that big an issue for me XD

The choir was beautiful...*jealousy* where did you get that?

Great mastering! As always it sounds flawless.

The only real problem I had with it was that it was short, but I understand its for an intro to a game, so, I cant complain too much there XD

Another job well done!
5/5
10/10

Keep em comin, we cant get enough!!!*at least i know i cant anyway XD

~Twistedtechnology

MaestroRage responds:

The timpani are really done differently this time around eh? I went to listen to a live orchestra last week and their timpani was played differently then how I play it. It had such a large role, such a powerful tool, that I immediately realized I wasn't even using the timpani to half it's potential. Trying to understand it better was more difficult then I thought, and as a result the timpani sounds a little awkward here.

That will change with experience :D.

The choirs are from East West Symphonic Choir. Damn brilliant VST I tell you.

I'll keep em coming my good sir! Purely so that I can kill you through subliminal messages one day >:}

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

dear goodness dude....

Once again, I rediscover your brilliance and i am absolutely blown aback by the beauty of this song.

One thing though, i think you're right, those high violens do sound a wee bit fake, but other than that, this song was spot-on XD I love every second of this submission!! I you ever start making CD's or something....you better let me know...cuz i'd buy em XD

Still can't believe how beautiful this music is XD I doubt i will ever get over that about your music XD
Keep on making this godly music, and i swear you could land a movie deal XD

~Twistedtechnology

MaestroRage responds:

Ah, Twisted! It has been a while! I hope I am not remembering the wrong person, I tend to do that, but I remember you, and well.

As for making the CD's. I do intend on making them soon, but I do not plan on charging for them. Or at least, not profit. I will charge for the materials and the shipping, but other then that, all free. I don't want to start making music for money, for there is nothing I fear more then to lose this absolute control over my music. No pressures to make something that will earn millions, but true and raw energy.

Where have you been hiding yourself Twisted! PM me if you are posting stuff up in other places, I would really like to know!

Thank you for the review man, it made my day. I'm glad you liked the piece!
