very calming

this was avery calming piece. As did WinTang, i sorta expected a bit more out of this, but all in all, the piece was great. It took a bit long for it to progress as little as it did in my taste, but, like you said *be it psuedoshit or not* it does metaphorically represent how slow and repetaive falling rain is. 4/5 on this as well. looking forward to more from you! *ps all the effects and beats that were used were great*

LJCoffee responds:

thanks - I can definitely understand where some remarks are coming from - It does drag a bit in spots - hell, I get a little impatient listening to it myself - glad you liked it though!

Sweet!

Very nice, very nice! I like this song alot. Very realxing, classy, and great effects! I love how it has that spacey feel to it. 5/5!! good job :)

pyroguy-37 responds:

Yeah..My favourite part is the underwater part! Glad you liked it!

not bad for your first try

very very good for a first try. I *being an avid FL Studio user, instantly recognized the sytrus synth. When its used in the short bursts at that fast of a pace it works, but when you dragged out the notes in the piano roll, it just seemed too jumpy. The fade-out was a nice effect, shows me you at least that you know your way around FL Studio than most others do. Overall, i enjoyed this piece :) 4/5 keep on making music XD

bjoaierjbioaerjgoerj responds:

thanx man. Yah, the synths were obvious. But since it WAS my first try, i couldn't make it sound SO perfect lol. Anyways, thanx man, i'll check your stuff out!

Amazing

Wow. This was an amazing track. In My opinion, music from the game Silent Hill (any one of them) is the most incredible style of ambient music. You've almost exacted the feel of Silent Hill style music to me, with the eerie synths and the drum beats. The only thing i didnt like too much was the high-ish pitched water-drop sounding noise. Everything else was great. 5/5 :) keep it coming.

StrangeEncounters responds:

Thanks alot. I didn't think it was amazing. Lol. Silent Hill, I've yet to play that game. But if my music is as good as proffesional video game music producers. Then I think I'm on the right track.

great job

no sytrus? which samples did you use then?? you did an excellent job with this piece. 5/5

Mind-Portal responds:

i used all default samples that came with my friends version of FL6, i used some Granulizer plug in, string samples, and Fruity Keys plug in. there was alot of pitch matching and what not involved, i'm pretty strong along that area, but still not perfect.

great piece

wow. this is a style of ambience i havent heard in ages. and actually, its one of my favorites. has a 'metalic' quallity i guess i'd call it. a very great piece to listen to! those tables were great XD 5/5

Voyd responds:

thanx alot, I love making shit like this, I will probably start working on another one like this soon.
